BAFTE THE SLEEP STORE – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALES/SERVICE

Bafte The Sleep Store represents, Apart from Bafte The Sleep Store in Chennai,  Bu Adel Furniture and Textile Est. in Abudhabi & Ras Al Khaima as well as Bafte General Trading LLC in Dubai & Sharjah and these stores sales and services are governed by the Terms & Conditions detailed here below and customers attention is drawn towards these.  By Signing on the invoices/quotes/proforma, the customers are confirming that they have read, understood and accepted these terms & conditions.

  1. A Price List is maintained in all our store for product sold in our stores/showrooms and the customers are free to check the prices at any time during working hours. However, the customers are not allowed to photograph, photocopy or take any image of the price list.  It is an internal document.
  2. Discounts on prices if and when given are at the sole discretion of the management and showroom staff is not authorized to give additional discounts. These prices or discounts are non negotiable.
  3. Profit from business are important for the up-keep of the showroom, to maintain high quality and to give warranty and other services. Therefore, customers are requested to refrain from Bargaining.
  4. First delivery on any products purchased, which is of Indian Rupees 15,000/- or more in value, will be free for major cities within India. A delivery charge will be applied for any further deliveries or returns, exchanges where these are permitted.
  5. All products sold are as per the choice and selection made by the customer. Therefore, product once sold is not taken back or exchanged unless the product has any manufacturing defects or size difference to what is ordered.
  6. Mattress, Mattress topper, Base and Sofa are made per individual customer order and not from a stock shelf. Therefore once the order is confirmed, the size or color or fabric cannot be changed or cancelled,  4 hours after placing the order.  Any Change or cancellation of a standard size mattress will incur a penalty equal to 25% of the value of order.
  7. Mattress, Pillows, Protectors etc. which comes packed will not be taken back or exchanged, if it is taken out of the package, for health & hygiene reasons.
  8. Giving correct size of Mattress, base and sofa  etc. are the responsibility of the customer. These will be given in writing, text messages, email or will be confirmed by the signature of the customer or his/representative on the official document like invoice/order form/delivery order etc. No changes permitted after 4 hours of order placement. Any change will be considered as cancellation of old order & placement of a new order.
  9. Customer will be liable to pay cancellation fee (25% for standard sizes & 75% for custom sizes or non standard sizes) and applicable transportation charges.
  10. We are committed to deliver from our showroom/warehouse/factory to the ground floor of the customer premises. While we will do our best to accommodate delivery to the customer living/bedroom, we will not be liable to do the same if the building access doors/windows/balconies/lifts or higher floors or the premises regulations prevent us from doing so. It will be customer responsibility to sort these issues.
  11. The company cannot be held responsible for any health issues, pest infections, smell or allergy caused by the direct and/or indirect use of company supplied product/s.
  12. Mattress, Base & Sofa fabric may differ in color, pattern or design from the showroom displayed models, depending on the materials available at production time but the quality will be maintained. By signing, customer agrees to this factor.
  13. Any reversal of credit card charges will incur deduction of credit card commission charged by the bank and an administration penalty Rs. 1500/-
  14. Any bounce cheque will incur full cash payment, cheque return charges and a penalty of Rs. 5000/-  per returned cheque as administration fee.
  15. Customers are requested to get clarification on any of the above terms and conditions if required, before signing the document as no negotiation or argument will be entertained there after.
  16. Customers are required to take/accept delivery within the agreed period, after which a storage charge will be applicable. Items not collected within 6 months will be disposed off and no claim will be entertained there after.
