Mattress

The word mattress comes from “ A Mat to Rest” In the olden days people slept on (rested on) a mat. Eventually they started sleeping on more comfortable surfaces, like a mat with cotton padding, then cotton mattresses, feather mattresses and coir mattresses and so on. With the advent of technology, there came foam mattresses, latex mattresses and spring mattresses.

Mattress Pads

Mattress Pads we sell are made of Memory foam, technically called Visco Elastic Memory foam and comes in two thickness levels. 5cm thick and 8 cms thick. Mattress Pads are used to put on existing mattresses to increase comfort levels and reduce ‘pressure points’ thereby delivering quality sleep results. Mattress pads can be used by anyone who wants to increase their sleep comfort irrespective of their age or body weight, but is a must for heavy people, elderly people, people who are bedridden and for those who are forced to spend longer period on mattresses due to illness, recovery period after surgery etc.

Mattress Cover

Every kind of environment is filled with dust in the atmosphere. It is easy to spot these dust particles with naked eye, when there is a ray of light coming through a dark area. Otherwise these unnoticeable particles are visible when they settle down layers upon layers on window stills, furnitures etc. A mattress, being a large surfaced area, gathers more of these dust, even if it is covered with a cotton bedsheet. These dusts then attracts dust mites and the resultant issues of allergies etc.

Mattress Covers are used to prevent/reduce such dusts from entering the mattress surface. These can be regularly washed and re-used. Mattress covers comes in standard sizes and can be bought off the shelf. It can also be ordered in custom sizes.

Mattress Protectors (Water Proof)

Waterproof Mattress protectors, like the mattress covers, while helping in reducing allergies (due to dust & dustmite gathering on the mattresses) it also helps prevent any kind of liquids getting absorbed by the mattress. These could be a child/baby who is not potty trained yet, or adults who are used to having drinks/food while in bed. Liquid spills on the mattresses not only damages the mattress but leave behind, eye sore ‘maps’ of stain on the mattress. Waterproof mattress protectors are also anti dustmite and anti allergic, it breathes (helps pass air through) but not water and comes with cotton top layer with stretchable sides. Both local made and imported producs are available.

Pillows

There are a whole bunch of Pillows available in the market. Bafte offers some of the fines Pilllows. They include -

  • Europedic Pillows: These are one of the best pillows one can use. Made of Visco elastic memory foam, they come in Regular shape and the ergonomic shape that comes in four different sizes/thickness. These temperature sensitive, NASA developed products takes the shape of the head/neck/shoulder and relieves the pressure in those areas giving you excellent head/neck support and a good sleep. It is said that once a person gets used to this pillow, he/she travels with it wherever they go.
  • Hush Supersoft Pillow: A fine Pillow which is supersoft with its Micro Fiber filling and an excellent quality shell cloth. The Pillow is washable. A must for those who prefers the luxury of soft pillows.
  • Normal Pillow: The silicon fiber filling, good quality shell cloth and an affordable price point makes this pillow very popular among the ordinary customer. This is washable and longer lasting.
  • Latex Pillow: Made of fine rubber, latex pillows comes in regular shape and the ergonomic shape. This pillow is preferred by those who loves the bounce of latex.
  • Neck Pillow: Made of Visco elastic memory foam, this Pillow is a great accessory for those who travel long distance (by plane, car) and those who are recovering from neck injuries. This superior products is also useful while reading a book or watching TV for a longer period. It comes with a removable and washable cover.
